With a distinct experience in book design and production, we find beauty arises from a response to the content that is led by strong ideas, typography, and attention to the book as a sculptural object.
We focus on ongoing partnerships with institutions, publishers, curators and artists. We believe design flourishes with collaboration and open and diverse thought and dialogue. We’re curious and inquisitive researchers of information from the poetic to typographic.
Luminosity Lab is the Brooklyn design practice of Caleb Cain Marcus who received his MFA from Columbia University and has work in the collections of the Getty and Metropolitan Museum of Art.
We have a passion for our work that is contagious and has been recognized by the Art Directors Club, AIGA and Tokyo Type Directors Club.
